DMYHA House league All stars

The tryouts for the House league All-star teams will be October 5 and 7. The plan for the 24-25 season is to field (at least) one All-star team in each of the 10u, 12u, and 14u house divisions.

Each House league All-star team will play in 3 tournaments listed below:

• DMYHA New Year’s Puck Drop @ RecPlex Dec 29-31, 2024
• The Arch Showdown St Louis, MO Feb 15-17, 2025
• Stampede (Omaha) March 1-3, 2025

Try-outs are open to all house league players (10u-14u). Based on the tryout evaluations, team rosters will be made up of 13-15 skaters and 1- 2 goalies. The House league All-star teams are in addition to a player’s regular season house team. These games and practices are scheduled around the house league schedule and are not allowed to conflict. With that said, each of the House league all-star teams will practice a maximum of 2-3 times per month and game play will be limited to the 3 events listed above and potential scrimmage games as approved by the House league director.

Between tournament games and practice time we anticipate each member of the House league all-star team will receive 20-25 hrs. of additional ice time in addition to their house league season. The estimated cost per player is $600-700. Please note: the estimated cost will cover all team expenses (practice ice, tournament entry fees, and

team uniforms). This cost does not include costs associated with overnight travel to the out of town events (hotel, gas, food, etc.)
